A sandy beach on the east side of the mouth of the South Devon Avon. The beach is backed with sand dunes and is popular with surfers.

Bantham is on the South Devon Coastal Path. and next to the Avon Estuary. The sand dune system is a nature conservation site. and a few rock pools are worth exploring.
