Blackhall Beach

Hartlepool, County Durham

Blackhall Rocks is a two kilometre stretch of coastal cliffs, sandy beach and rocky platforms on the Durham coast. It is a nature reserve, and as the beaches become cleaner some salt-marsh species are colonising the shore.

lots of varied Flora and fauna. This part of the coastline attracts turnstone. purple sandpiper and others waders during winter. From the latter part of August through to October various divers and sea duck might be seen offshore.
