Crantock Beach

Newquay, Cornwall

A sandy beach contained within east and west Pentire Headlands. It is backed by high dunes at the NE end and by steep cliffs at the SW end. There is a large expanse of mostly tide swept golden sand and the River Gannel enters the sea at the Northern edge.

Nature and Wildlife

Access is through Crantock Village. just south of Newquay. The car park rests behind the dunes.
