Dugort Beach

Dugort, Mayo

This small sandy beach located on Achill Island is within a Special Conservation Area. The low-lying flat grassland or machair is of particular interest and is rich in flora and fauna. Dugort is a semi exposed shore with a sandy substrate, rocks and pebbles.
