Gorran Haven - Little Perhaver Beach

St Austell, Cornwall

This beach is around the corner from Gorran Haven Beach and therefore within easy reach at low tide to all the facilities in Gorran Haven. Both beaches are used by tourists and holiday makers as family beaches.

Beautiful beach, quite small so amazed at how many dogs came onto it. Keeping them on the lead was ignored. Is'nt it about time they were banned on the beach. We watched them urinating and messing, although owners seemed to clear it up, children then came along to play and make sandcastles. I know we are a nation of dog lovers but should't we put our children before our dogs.

As a responsible dog owner who has both children and a dog I would like to add that we, including our dog, are a family and want to spend time together on the beach just like anyone else. As long as our dog does not disturb anyone and we clean up any mess immediately I don't see why we should not be allowed to. There are plenty of beaches available where dogs are banned to choose from.
