Horden Beach

A lot of coal spoil was dumped on Horden beach which is in the process of dispersing. This is a long beach backed by an extensive National Trust Area and bordered at it's south end by the picturesque Denesmouth.

From Peterlee. head east towards the coast and Horden. Access to the beach is either south of the town or from the road between Horden and Easington Colliery.
