Llanddwyn Beach Beach
Llanfaer Pwll, Caernarfonshire and Merionethshire
A long ribbon of sand backed by forest and five kilometres of high dunes with spectacular views across to the mountains of the Lleyn Peninsula. There's a path leading from the beach to the nature reserve at Llanddwyn Island and the nearby forest has a fantastic network of footpaths.

Newborough Warren National Nature Reserve is just behind the beach and covers 1.5 acres. It can be reached via the A4080 which crosses the River Cefni at Malltraeth Pool; approach the reserve through Niwbwrch village just after the junction with the B44Parking
