Mullaghroe Beach

Belmullet, Mayo

Exposed sandy shore, located near the Blacksod Bay in an area of scientific interest. The land surrounding the shore is brackish. Salt marshes are present in sheltered inlets and provide feeding and breeding grounds for the bird population.
