Nature and Wildlife

The Pembrokeshire coast path runs along the beach before climbing up the cliffs at either end. Walks to nearby Druidstone haven or Solva offer spectacular views of St Brides Bay where a variety of sea birds and the occasional seal can be spotted.

Cleaned daily during the summer. litter bins provided. a ban should be in place soon.

Dogs

A dog ban is in place for the centre 3rd of the beach (area marked on map at the beach). Dogs should not be allowed to foul the beach.

Access

From Haverfordwest take the A487 to St David's. Newgale beach is located 7 miles along the road. Access is from the car park. over a pebble ridge.

Public Transport

There is a railway station at Haverfordwest. The Puffin Shuttle bus service runs between St David's and Milford Haven 3 times a day and stops at Newgale.
