Pembrey Beach - Llanelli (Cefn Sidan) Beach

An 8 mile long stretch of sand edged by a belt of sand dunes along the entire length. The beach falls within Pembrey Country Park. Visitors can enjoy clear views across Carmarthen Bay to Tenby and the Gower.

Cleaning and Litter

The beach is cleaned by the Country Park staff every day from April to September. both manually and by machine. Bins are available.

Access

The country park is well signposted from the M4 (Junction 48) and from the A484 (the Carmarthen - Llanelli coast road on which the park entrance is situated). Once in the Park. the beach is clearly signposted.

Public Transport

The hourly bus service between Carmarthen and Llanelli stops 1 mile from the Park entrance. The nearest train station is Bary Port. 4 miles away. There are buses and taxis connecting the Park to the station. The Celtic Trail Cycle Route to the Severn
