Caldey Island is considered a haven of peace and tranquility. It has a monastery, home to Cistercian (trappist) monks, and a small village. Priory Bay has a long sandy beach with a small jetty where passenger boats from the mainland arrive.

Access
The island is a 20-minute boat trip from Tenby. and is open from easter to october. Tickets are obtained from the Caldey Island Kiosk at the top of Tenby Harbour. Boats run between 10am and 5pm - 6pm. Monday to Friday and. from May-September only atPublic Transport
