A long. straight sandy beach backed by impressive sand dunes. This is a popular beach with surfers. No kite buggying or sand yachts are permitted.

Crow Point can be accessed along the beach. with the adjacent UNESCO Biosphere Reserve at Braunton Burrows being within close proximity. Military training occurs on part of the Burrows. with red flags indicating when live-firing is to occur.

Access

Take the A361 to Barnstable from junction 25 of the M5. Follow the signs to Braunton. then continue on towards Croyde. Saunton is reached before Croyde.
