Seaton Carew beach is a tract of gently sloping golden sand ideal for bathing and recreation. Rocky areas with rock pools make it are ideal for exploring the wildlife. Seaton Common and Dunes Local Nature Reserve and Teesmouth National Nature Reserve lie nearby.
