Staithes Beach
Staithes, North Yorkshire
Sheltered behind one of the largest fishing ports on the north east 'dinosaur' coast. A small beach popular with families. Caution - bathing water quality samples taken on 25th May, 13th June and 7th July 2006 did not meet legal minimum standards. Bathing is not advised, and further information should be sought from Scarborough Borough Council.
