Tresaith Beach

Cardigan, Ceredigion

The small resort of Tresaith overlooks this attractive sandy beach and the waters of Cardigan Bay. The name Tresaith is derived from the River Saith which cascades over the cliffs to Tresaith Beach.

The beach is cleaned daily by the council between Easter and September. It is cleaned weekly the rest of the year.

Dogs are restricted to a section of the beach between 1st May and 30th September.

Access

From the A487 (north of Cardigan) take the turning at Sarnau and follow the signs for Tresaith.

Public Transport

The nearest train station is Aberystwyth and the following buses go through Tresaith: the 550 and 551 Aberystwyth to Cardigan route and the 552 Aberaeron to Cardigan route.
