Weymouth - Preston Beach

Weymouth, Dorset

Weymouth Preston is primarily used by people who prefer a more “rural” type of beach as opposed to the resort beaches further south. This beach also has a larger dog exercise area than it's southern neighbours, with many dog owners making it their beach of choice in the summer.

The beach is cleaned daily by the Council from 1st May to 30th September. There are litter and dog bins on the beach and promenade.

Dogs

Dogs are not permitted on the main sections of Weymouth Central or Lodmoor between 1st May and 30th September.
